I replaced my old, thin massage table pad with the 1" pile, and my clients love it! IF I didn't transport my table, I would get a thicker pad, but the 1" is sufficient. It is thin enough to leave it in place when fold my table--then place it all in the table's carry bag. One inch is also a great insulating thickness under which to place a warm Fomentec [hot water pillow] Bag. Therapists--this is an ideal combination!
