BreathableBaby CribShield Mesh Liner - White Decide Now

This is a great idea and given that my son has already gotten his leg stuck in his crib slats several times, I was really hoping it would work well. There are, unfortunately, several problems with this. First of all, it is not designed for cribs that have a higher back, which ours has. Secondly, if you have a Fisher Price aquarium or cd player or anything attached to the crib rails you can't keep it on and have the mesh liner on too since the mesh goes all the way around. You either have to get rid of the aquarium (not a practical option) or try to tuck/shove the top of the liner underneath it. Finally, if you have an ultimate crib sheet (which is a fabulous product that I highly recommend) because the mesh of the liner goes all they way around the slats of the crib you either have to eschew snapping the sheet (also not practical) or cut holes in the mesh to allow for the sheet to snap. It would be wonderful if the company that makes this would design one to accommodate a crib with a higher back and with some slits so that you can attach things like an aquarium at the top and an ultimate crib sheet at the bottom. Unfortunately, I am likely going to have to keep this because there just isn't anything else out there on the market and I need something to keep my son's limbs in the crib safely. However, it doesn't look particularly nice and given the design flaws it may not stand up to daily use. It really doesn't seem to have been designed with the realities of the modern crib in mind.
