Firstly, I don't think the two previous reviews are for this crib. This doesn't have any shelves and it's not a table. I did a lot of research before I purchased this crib and bought it after much hassle at the local Babies R Us. The price I got it for was give or take [...] but it's still a bargain for the piece of furniture you get. The wood is very sturdy and the color is top quality. I was afraid that it may be too big but it's the perfect size and it looks cozy in the nursery. It took my husband and me 1hr 25 minutes to assemble the crib from start to finish. And, with each component finished, the crib looked better and better. I don't know why the price keeps going down on the crib but it's a definite buy if you're looking for a crib right now. Our baby is not born yet but once he is born, we'll see how this crib will do. Maybe I will update the review depending on how it grows with him.
