This works great for what I needed to keep my daughter from chewing on the side of the crib, only thing is, recently she has discovered how easily it pulls apart since the only real thing that holds it in is a few velcro straps. I think there could be some things built into the top underside to tie it down or help reinforce it. Once one of the velcro straps is undone the kids have access to at least a 1/3 of the railing. It's very good for when they can just stand up, but once they get more advanced they can remove it easier - so I think I will be adding some things to mine - sewing on some straps on some snaps or something to make it continue to work for me.
