We purchased this crib bedding set for our first son - he will arrive in August :-).
It was initially meant as a "second choice" for our crib and I'm afraid that we are not going to change our mind now, that it's here...

I'll start with the good things first:
- arrived very quickly - ordered it Friday evening and got it Tuesday morning!
- price not bad at all for a 10 piece set- I mean of course the sale price of 60$ ! Never ever is it worth 200 something...
- decent quality - again, worth 60$ but sure not more! Pretty much all other crib sets I've seen f.e. at Baby USA are better quality. Plus the diaper stacker is pretty small.
- on the pictures it looks quite blue, but I was a bit dissapointed that it actually has a quite greenish touch - if you look f.e. at the toy bag, it is green.

I had no trouble with broken parts, though there are several replacement parts (wooden dowels) provided with the unit.
I was very surprised to see that it was made of solid wood and was very sturdy once assembled. The directions are clear and I easily put it together in the 36th week of my pregnancy. The only downfall was that I assembled it in the living room and it doesn't fit through standard doorways. I had to remove the canopy and turn it sideways to fit into my bedroom.
I read in another reveiw that it doesn't have wheels. Mine does.
I also read that the canopy is crooked. The pole is manufactured to angle slightly over the rear of the bassinet.
The shelf under the bassinet is convenient but is clearly not meant to hold anything over a few pounds.
The screws in the top of the bassinet do not distract from its beauty and attribute to the sturdiness.
The bedding is beautiful and the directions state to wash in cold water and to put all of the velcro straps together before washing. This may prevent the fraying and shrinkage. The sheets on the website come in 2 colors white or ecru. it is $22.00 for 2 sheets. Not a terrible price. The sheet could be a little better quality, but the matress is fine. It is thin (1"), but bassinet and cradle matresses are supposed to be.

I will point out that the little cow on the bumper is made of a felt-like material. It tends to pill when you wash it, which is disappointing. If you have time, you can use a sweater shaver to remove the pills and it's fine. I have a more modern-style crib with wide slats. So, the bumper really doesn't show very much. The crib skirt has box pleats, which is pretty but a nightmare to iron - and it looks very sloppy if you don't iron it. A word of caution: The product information in the listing above says that the crib sheet has elastic all the way around. Unless this is an upgrade from when I got mine (which was less than a year ago), this is incorrect. My sheet has elastic on the ends only, which I was not happy about. I will also mention that the light blue on this set is very light blue. For me, it worked great. But just something to think about if you are trying to match it to solids or other items that are not a part of the set. All-in-all, the overall quality is okay. It's not awful, but it's not luxury either. I have seen sets at Babies-R-Us and other places for the same price with lesser quality. I am very very pleased with this set, which I think is equally nice for a boy or girl. The pictures do not show the colours and patterns very well though, and I recommend browsing around to find better pictures showing the details. It is mainly black, white, soft green with a little blue in it (tropical ocean colour but softer, as I imagine the icy water at the poles!) and rusty red. The black has a few percent brown in it and the white is off-white which makes the set look softer and cosier.
The back side of the COMFORTER has the same pattern as behind the penguins: small reddish/soft pink leaves and berries on a light brown background. Might sound girly to some but I don't think it is. This reddish/brown pattern make it look great with our crib which has walnut finish, but I think it would look equally nice in a white, cherry, dark brown or black crib, perhaps(?) less good with a very light wood colour.
The FITTED SHEET has a tropical ocean green background, brighter than the velvet green bordering the comforter, but the white dots make it look less bright (makes me think of iceflakes) and it goes perfect with the velvet colour.
The BUMBER comes in four parts, the two long parts have whales on them and one short part has penguins and the other polar bears. My son loves to touch the different textures! I appreciate that the animals do not show any particular face expressions, like many other animal themed sets with smiling animals.
We have washed and tumble dried the comforter and sheet once (together) at low temperature and they look and feel like when we got them, i.e. no problems with colour coming off or threads coming loose or filling material clumping.
All the materials feel soft and are of high quality.

Cheap plastic parts are what the manufacturer used for the drop rail. As a result, the drop rail meachanical parts break. I had to spend time reinforcing these drop rail mechanics with my own parts. Also, very tough to lower the mattress to its lowest level without taking the whole crib apart - why? because in order to reach screw-holes within the metallic box spring (on which the mattress sits), you would need to reach through the verticle rails of the back-side of the crib (opposite the drop rail). In order to do this you would need hands the size of my 8-month old son. I was lucky because I am 6 feet tall and could just bend over to reach to place the screws in place and fasten the wing nuts. Naturepedic - No Compromise Organic Crib Mattress Seamless Ultra 252 Review

After looking around for a safer alternative to a mattress that our daughter would be sleeping on, we decided to splurge and get this mattress from Naturepedic.

It arrived before the estimated shipping date which was a nice surprise. It was also very well packaged (a giant cardboard box that fit around the whole mattress).

After taking the mattress out of the plastic, there was no smell whatsoever. What a nice change! I didn't have to air it out. I just placed it in the crib and put the crib sheet on.

Our baby has been sleeping in on this mattress for 3 months now and she has not complained at all. She sleeps 9 hrs + at night and naps on it during the day as well. I've read that some people said that the mattress was hard and that they thought it was too hard for their baby. I don't think it is at all. You want your mattress to be a little firm especially to prevent SIDS.

We did have on occasion times when we needed to wipe down the mattress and that was very easy. Damp cloth...wipe...done! The seamless aspect will definitely come in handy for the bigger messes where I won't have to worry about any pee seeping into the seams.

One thing I did notice is that where she sleeps, it is starting to indent or leave a little impression. She's about 14lbs now. I'm rotating the mattress today to see if that will make a difference.

Oh one more thing, one side is suppose to be a little firmer for babies while the other side is a little more padded/softer for toddlers.

I love this projector. I bought this for my new born who is now 1 1/2 years old. She still loves it and falls asleep with it every night. She even enjoys using it during the day to walk around with it and hum the tunes. I don't know how the company can legally advertise this product as 100% organic cotton. That is not the case. Unfortunately, you won't know that until you open up the package and look at the actual tags to find that it only CONTAINS organic cotton. The rest of it is resin-treated polyester (yeah, that sounds "organic"). Yet the product description and the packaging both indicate that this set is all-natural 100% organic cotton.

As other reviewers have commented on, this set IS quite soft and comfortable, like velvet. But it is rather plain--and not just because it contains no bleaches or dyes. For the (poor) quality of bumper and blanket you get, I'm more than a little disappointed. I ended up replacing the blanket with a down comforter.

Bottom line: this set is overpriced for what you get and I wouldn't recommend it at all. If you don't care about organic, you can get a much nicer--and more colorful--set for less money.
